Jabuticaba is a fruit from the Brazilian grapetree (Plinia cauliflora), which is unique because its purplish-black, round fruits grow directly on the trunk and branches. The fruit has a sweet, white pulp and is eaten raw or used to make jellies, juices, wine, and other preserves. Native to Brazil and other parts of South America, it is rich in vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants.
